We know that global climates change over time. Particularly, we know that the Cretaceous Period had a significant warming. Many individuals feel that the Earth is in the beginning stages of a similar warming. In order to fully understand what is happening today, we must understand the history of the Cretaceous Period's climate, and what factors affected the climate.
